1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. 2: Combine filling ingredients over the stove until it resembles a thick jam. 3: Thaw puff pastry at room temperature. Divide into 6 squares. 4: Place filling and honey goat cheese in the center of each square. 5: Brush sides of squares with water and fold over, pressing with a fork to secure. 6: Freeze turnovers for 10 minutes. 7: Combine egg, milk, and salt, whisk together, and brush atop turnovers. 8: Add shaved almonds lightly pressed into dough and sprinkle with raw cane sugar. 9: Poke holes on top of each pastry before putting in the oven. 10: Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden on top.
