A quick and delicious chicken broccoli stir fry, packed with flavor from garlic and ginger, and dressed with a savory sauce. Perfect for a weeknight dinner and pairs well with rice.
Heat coconut oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add the sliced chicken to the skillet and cook until it’s no longer pink and slightly browned. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Add the minced garlic, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using) to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Toss in the broccoli florets and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until they are tender crisp and bright green.
In a small bowl, mix together the low-sodium soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil. Pour the sauce over the chicken and broccoli in the skillet. Stir to coat everything evenly and let it cook for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Remove from heat and plate or store in Tupperware.
Pair with rice and top with extra sauce.
